Steps for troubleshooting

Preamble

Check the Z-axis Gear:

First, please ensure that the Z-axis gear is not damaged. When you manually lift the print bed, the gear should be concentric and not wobbling side to side.

Inspect the Bricks

If the z axis gear is in good condition, it’s possible that one of the bricks is slightly larger than the others, which could be resisting the upward movement of the print bed.

  1. Try to generously greased the bricks between the print bed and the main structure.

Remove Blue Bricks

If the problem persists, try removing the blue bricks on each side of the print bed and see if that solves the problem

Remove Side Columns

If the issue persists, please remove the top part of the printer

Then remove the right and left side columns

Check for Exceeding Bricks:

With your fingers or nails, check for any bricks that exceed the wall of the bricks

If you find any, simply turn the brick around 180 degrees and test again to see if that resolves the problem.

Repeat these steps until the bricks feel more or less smooth to the touch.

Sand the Bricks:

If that doesn’t work, please sand the exceeding edges of the bricks where you think the blockage occurs.

Once the sanding is finished, clean up and add a layer of grease.
